SAP + Salesforce integration
SAP and Salesforce integration, handled by one team
We sync customers, orders, invoicing, inventory and prices between SAP and Salesforce. We partner with both platforms, so there's no ERP vendor and CRM vendor arguing over whose fault it is when something doesn't match.

How it connects

What we integrate between SAP and Salesforce
The flows most requested by companies that already run both systems separately.
Customer master
The customer is created once and lives the same in both systems.
- Two-way creation and updates
- Tax and billing data
- Hierarchies and branches
- Duplicate control
- Commercial and credit blocks
Orders and quotes
The sale closed in the CRM reaches the ERP without retyping it.
- Quote in Salesforce, order in SAP
- Availability check
- Conditions and discounts
- Order status for the sales rep
- Traceability through delivery
Invoicing and receivables
The sales rep stops asking accounting for the account statement.
- Invoices visible in the CRM
- Receivables per customer
- Due date alerts
- History for cross-selling
Products, prices and inventory
One catalog, one price list, one single truth.
- Synced catalog
- Price lists and conditions
- Availability by warehouse
- Real time or scheduled
Other ERPs
Not everyone has SAP, and we solve that too.
- Oracle NetSuite
- SIESA on-premise and cloud
- In-house systems via API
- Flat files and batches
Monitoring and support
An unmonitored integration fails silently.
- Error logging and retries
- Alerts when a message doesn't go through
- Interface status dashboard
- Ongoing support

What nobody wants to handle
When a message fails, someone has to answer
Most integrations don't break on go-live day, they break months later with a case nobody foresaw. That's why we define monitoring, reprocessing and who answers.
Technologies
What we integrate with, depending on what you already have
First we define what data travels, in which direction and how often, then we choose the tool.

SAP Integration Suite
Cloud Integration, formerly CPI
- Cloud scenarios on BTP
- Prebuilt packages
- Retries and errors
- Built-in monitoring

SAP PI and PO
The middleware many companies still run
- Interfaces on PI or PO
- Mappings, IDocs and proxies
- Coexistence with cloud scenarios
- Support for what is in production

MuleSoft
API management for the Salesforce ecosystem
- Reusable APIs
- Anypoint and SAP connectors
- Governance and versioning
- Real time
Informatica
Data integration and quality
- Bulk data loads
- Cleansing and deduplication
- Scheduled syncs
- Quality before publishing to the CRM
Web services and native APIs
When no middleware is needed
- REST, SOAP and OData
- IDoc, BAPI and RFC
- Apex, Flow and events
- Controlled point-to-point
Other ERPs and in-house systems
Integration is the capability, not the brand
- Oracle NetSuite and SIESA
- Systems with their own database
- Flat files and SFTP
- Portals and ecommerce
Process
How we approach an integration
- AssessmentWe review what is in each system, which data is duplicated and where information gets lost.
- DesignWe define in writing the flows, the direction of each one, the frequency and error handling.
- BuildWe build and test each interface separately, with real data in a test environment.
- OperationAccompanied go-live, interface monitoring and ongoing support.

Frequently asked questions
SAP and Salesforce integration: what we're asked most
Which partner integrates SAP with Salesforce in LATAM?
One that knows both sides. Discovery Partners is an SAP Service Partner and a Salesforce consulting partner, so the same team designs the integration of customers, orders, prices, inventory and invoices between SAP ECC or S/4HANA and Salesforce, with SAP BTP or middleware, and supports it afterwards with AMS.
What can be integrated between SAP and Salesforce?
The most common are the customer master, product catalog, price lists, orders and quotes, invoicing, receivables status and inventory availability. The scope is defined by what information the sales and service teams need to see.
What technology do you use for the integration?
It depends on the scenario and the SAP version. We use SAP Integration Suite, SAP BTP, MuleSoft, REST and OData APIs, and IDoc and BAPI where appropriate. The decision is made in the design, not before.
Does it work if we have SAP ECC and not S/4HANA?
Yes. We integrate both ECC and S/4HANA. On ECC the path usually goes through web services, IDoc or an intermediate integration layer, and it works just as well.
What if our ERP isn't SAP?
We also integrate Salesforce with Oracle NetSuite, SIESA and in-house systems via API or batch processes. The design approach is the same.
Does the integration need to be real time?
Not always, and forcing it makes the project more expensive with no benefit. The customer master usually justifies real time, while inventory or receivables can update at intervals. It's decided flow by flow in the design.
What happens when an interface fails?
The design defines from the start what retries automatically, what goes into an error queue and who gets notified. We deliver an interface status dashboard so the problem shows up before a user reports it.
Which CRM integrates best with SAP S/4HANA?
Salesforce integrates with SAP S/4HANA through APIs, SAP BTP or middleware, and lets you sync customers, orders, prices and invoices between the CRM and the ERP. Discovery Partners is an SAP Service Partner and Salesforce Partner, and designs that integration with a single team.
